Zinedine Zidane has reportedly emerged as a potential managerial target for Bayern Munich.
Zidane won a third Champions League crown with Real Madrid last season, but the Frenchman opted to resign from his position soon afterwards and is currently without a club.
Manchester United have been frequently linked with an approach for the 46-year-old, but according to RMC Sport, Bayern also see Zidane as a possible replacement for Nico Kovac.
The German champions have endured a poor start to the new campaign, with the club sitting four points adrift of leaders Borussia Dortmund after seven matches.
A draw with Ajax in the Champions League has also raised the possibility of a quick change in the dugout, with Kovac only being appointed during the summer.
