Henning Berg has said that Manchester United are not taking full advantage of the chances created by new recruit Shinji Kagawa.
The former Red Devils centre-back believes that the Japanese international is a "top player", who brings a unique set of skills to the team.
However, the Norwegian said that United need a striker to profit from the threat he poses playing behind the front line.
"I was very impressed with Kagawa [against Galatasaray]," Berg told talkSPORT. "He looks a top player and is a real bundle of energy.
"His positional play in that role gives Man United something extra. They've not had someone in that role before.
"The only thing missing is someone to score all the chances he makes."
Kagawa arrived at Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
