Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been handed a £12,000 fine by the Football Association for comments he made about assistant referee Simon Beck.
Ferguson's comments came after the 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur, during which the Scot felt United were denied a penalty by Beck.
Ferguson said that Beck "had a bad game" and that he was "disappointed" with the overall performance.
In a private hearing, the FA have found Ferguson guilty of a breach of rule E3 and have handed him a five-figure fine.
