Sir Alex Ferguson hails Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes as Manchester United's "best"

Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are the greatest players to ever pull on a Manchester United shirt.

The veteran duo scored in United's 2-1 victory over Norwich City yesterday.

"Given the career Ryan has had, to score the winning goal with the last kick of the game, he deserved that," said Ferguson. "Scholes and Giggs are the best players this club has ever had."

Giggs made his 900th appearance for the Red Devils at Carrow Road at the weekend.
