Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Phil Jones is better than Chelsea defender John Terry.
The United boss thinks that the 20-year-old Jones has more to his game than the Blues captain and lavishes praise on the player he signed from Blackburn Rovers in 2011.
"Jones has got more in his locker than John Terry," said Ferguson.
"Terry has got the experience and has become a fantastic central figure at Chelsea, but as a young player, John would be the first to admit he didn't have the pace of Phil Jones.
"Phil is a versatile boy, he can play anywhere. He's quick, two-footed, reads games well and is competitive. He's doing very well."
Jones was part of the team that beat Fulham 4-1 at Old Trafford in the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
