Ryan Giggs eyes future role as Manchester United boss?

Ryan Giggs could be the next Manchester United manager as he reportedly expects to gain his coaching licence in 12 months.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has been tipped to become the next manager at Old Trafford as he reportedly edges nearer to gaining the relevant coaching qualifications.

The former Wales international, who will become the first individual to receive a coaching licence while still playing, is expected to complete his 'B' and 'A' licences, which will enable him to manage in the Premier League.

The 39-year-old will gain his UEFA Pro Licence within the next 12 months and could be lined up to replace Sir Alex Ferguson at the illustrious club, according to the Irish Independent.

Giggs's former teammate Gary Neville, who is currently a coach with the England national set-up, is also working on gaining the same qualifications.
