Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs could reportedly take over from Sir Alex Ferguson when he retires from his position.
There is no suggestion that Ferguson will end his spell at the club in the near future, but according to The Mirror, the 38-year-old could become the club's internal appointment for the 2013-14 season.
The Welshman is currently earning his coaching badges, and could welcome Paul Scholes and former United defender Gary Neville into a new setup.
Giggs is understood to the players' choice for the role.
