Everton defender Phil Jagielka says that this season's Premier League title is a two-horse race between Manchester United and Manchester City.

Everton defender Phil Jagielka believes that either Manchester United or Manchester City will win the Premier League title this season.

United are currently three points clear of the defending English champions after 15 rounds of matches, with third-place Chelsea 10 points off the pace.

"The way results have gone this weekend, you would say it is going to be between the two Manchester clubs," The Sun quotes him as saying.

"It is a tough one. We played Manchester United at the start of the season and they struggled because they didn't have any defenders.

"But City have got a wealth of talent. If they can get through these coming months and are still in touch or at the top of the league then they are going to be a pretty hard team to beat."

Everton, who drew 1-1 with City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, are sixth with 23 points.
