On-loan full-back Saidy Janko has described his goal on his debut for Bolton Wanderers last night as "lucky".
The Manchester United teenager put Bolton 2-1 ahead and on their way to a 3-1 victory over Fulham at the Macron Stadium with a vicious drive from outside the box that flew into the roof of the net.
He also set up Eidur Gudjohnsen for Bolton's first-half equaliser and said it was "brilliant" to play with the veteran forward.
On his goal, Janko told the club website: "My first touch was not ideal so I closed my eyes and decided to hit it and it went in. It was a lucky goal.
"For Eidur's goal I just whipped the ball in and he did the rest. His first touch was unbelievable. You see his quality and he just had to flick it in so credit to him I think."
"It was brilliant to play alongside him. He is a great player who has had a fantastic career and played with some of the finest players on the planet."
Bolton boss Neil Lennon also reserved special praise for the youngster's debut.
Janko is on loan at Bolton until the end of the season following a deadline-day swap deal that saw Andy Kellett go the other way.
