Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has said that he enjoys playing alongside Bruno Fernandes due to their similar styles.
Fernandes has been credited with helping to turn United's form around since his January arrival, scoring three times and assisting four more in his nine outings to date.
The Portugal international starred again as the Red Devils thrashed LASK Linz before football was suspended, and Mata talked up the impact he and fellow January signing Odion Ighalo have had at the club.
"I think we understand football the same way," Mata told reporters.
"We like to play the same way, passing and moving and giving lines and and playing with each other, looking for our forwards in behind like we did today with Dan [James] and Odion.
"He scored a fantastic goal also, so it is great to have him in the team, Bruno, and also Odion, scoring in almost every game that he plays. Great guy and very happy with them now in the team."
Mata has made 31 appearances for United this season, scoring three goals and creating five more.
