Inter Milan are willing to let Wesley Sneijder join Manchester United as long as the Red Devils meet their £40m valuation, according to the Daily Star.
The Dutchman was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League champions in the summer, but a deal never came to fruition.
Interest from the Red Devils appeared to cool, however it is thought that Sir Alex Ferguson could snatch his number one target if funds are available.
The Italian giants were adamant during the summer that the 27-year-old would remain at the San Siro, claiming that the midfielder was "untouchable".
