One Manchester United player reportedly questioned Harry Maguire's suitability for the captaincy role at Old Trafford during clear-the-air talks earlier this month.
Sunday's 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool has piled the pressure on head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but it does appear that the Norwegian will be in charge for this weekend's clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Times, following the 4-2 defeat to Leicester City on October 16, the Man United players were invited by Solskjaer to share their concerns.
The report claims that one member of the squad questioned whether it was the right decision to appoint Maguire as captain of the club in early 2020 following Ashley Young's departure to Inter Milan.
Eric Bailly, meanwhile, is believed to have called out Solskjaer over his decision to select Maguire against Leicester, with the England international seemingly still struggling to overcome a calf problem.
The 28-year-old has made 117 appearances for the 20-time English champions since arriving in a big-money deal from Leicester in 2019.
