Manchester United's Juan Mata: 'Break makes us stronger'

Juan Mata believes that Manchester United's warm-weather training break in Dubai is making the team "stronger".

Manchester United's club-record signing Juan Mata has insisted that the team's current warm-weather training break is making them "stronger" as a unit.

The North-West outfit flew to a training camp in Dubai following their goalless draw with Arsenal at the Emirates last Wednesday.

In his weekly blog, Mata wrote: "This kind of break always helps to make the group even stronger and to switch off a bit from the different competitions and the tight schedule. Also, it's amazing to see how many fans the club has around the world.

"Personally, these days are good for me to settle even more in the team and share these moments with my teammates. And also, obviously, to train hard and get used to the new working patterns after just three weeks in the club."

United, who face Crystal Palace on Saturday, are currently seventh in the Premier League table.
