Juan Mata wants strong Manchester United finish

Juan Mata wants Manchester United to take maximum points from their remaining five Premier League fixtures.

Juan Mata has urged his Manchester United teammates to ensure that they finish the Premier League season on a positive note.

The champions have been inconsistent for the majority of the campaign and with five matches left to play, they are seventh in the table.

However, club-record signing Mata has insisted that despite seemingly having little to play for, the Red Devils have "five finals" ahead, starting with Everton away at the weekend.

"We have five finals to play in the league and we will try to win all of them to get as many points as possible. We have a good training week ahead to get ready for the Everton match. I feel very good and I really want to play again, as it's been a while since the last time I did. I'm looking forward to my next game," the 25-year-old wrote in his blog.

After Everton, United face Norwich City, Sunderland, Hull City and Southampton.
