Jose Mourinho has reportedly restructured his Manchester United coaching setup by recruiting Stefano Rapetti as his new fitness coach.
The 41-year-old has previously worked with Mourinho at Inter Milan, where he was tasked with overlooking fitness and rehabilitation of players.
Rapetti has most recently worked at Sampdoria but, according to the Daily Mail, he has now left that position to reunite with Mourinho at Old Trafford.
United have also added Michael Carrick to their backroom staff, and the same report suggests that Under-18s coach Kieran McKenna has been promoted to a senior role.
Rui Faria, who had been Mourinho's right-hand man for more than 17 years, officially stepped down this week to leave the assistant manager's position vacant.
