Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that Leicester City are capable of qualifying for next season's Europa League.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has praised Leicester City's recent form, but claims that they are unlikely to ever compete for another Premier League title.

Leicester shocked the football world by winning England's top flight during the 2015-16 campaign, but they returned to mid-table during the following season as Chelsea won the league crown.

Ahead of Saturday's clash at the King Power Stadium, Mourinho has suggested that their famous triumph was a one-off, but feels that the Foxes are capable of earning a place in next year's Europa League.

The 54-year-old told reporters: "Phenomenal in that season and benefited from all type of contenders did not have a good season. Expectations now are if the top teams perform, it is very difficult for them to have the same dream and achieve the same incredible title.

"They are doing well. They are in a comfortable position. No dramas. No fears. Can they fight to get into the Europa League, yes they could. They are the same good team they were."

Leicester head into the game sitting in eighth place in the standings, 15 points adrift of United who are in second position.
