Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says that he is "very happy" with all aspects of his team's pre-season tour of America.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has said that he is "very happy" with all aspects of his team's pre-season tour of America.

United arrived in the United States earlier this month, and recorded four straight wins over Los Angeles Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City and Real Madrid, before losing 1-0 to Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Juan Mata and Ander Herrera both picked up knocks in the States, but Mourinho has played down suggestions that either player picked up a potentially long-term problem, in addition to hailing all aspects of the pre-season tour.

"I am very happy. No injuries because Mata and Herrera in this moment, I don't think we are talking about injuries," Mourinho told MUTV.

"They will be back to training I think next Saturday, no problem to be back to training, so no injuries, a fantastic atmosphere, a fantastic working ethic, great organisation. So now we just need to land safely in Manchester and this part of the pre-season was perfect."

Next up for United is a clash with Norwegian side Valerenga in Oslo on Sunday, before facing Serie A outfit Sampdoria in the Republic of Ireland next week.
