The paperwork has reportedly been completed in time for Nani to make his second debut as a Sporting Lisbon player this evening.
The Manchester United winger returned to his boyhood club earlier this week on a loan basis as a part of the deal that saw defender Marcos Rojo move in the opposite direction.
It had been expected that Rojo would turn out for United at Sunderland tomorrow, but manager Louis van Gaal confirmed yesterday that the Argentine had not yet received a work permit.
However, there have been no such issues for Nani, with the 27-year-old in the Sporting squad to take on Arouca at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, according to O Jogo.
Nani first turned out for Sporting in 2005, before he made the switch to Old Trafford two years later.
