Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has described his meeting with former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson as a "dream come true".
The two met at a London restaurant on Tuesday and it sparked rumours that Pochettino taking over at Old Trafford could be on the cards.
However, the Argentine has now officially signed a new long-term deal at White Hart Lane and told reporters that they did not discuss him leaving Spurs.
"It was fantastic, a dream come true," Pochettino said. "When I started my career as a manager, he was always my inspiration, my reference.
"He is a person we can all learn from. He has a fantastic history in football and in life."
Pochettino has previously said that Ferguson's legacy at Old Trafford is something that he wants to emulate with Spurs.
