Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has apologised for the incident which saw him receive a red card during Sunday's Premier League clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.
United picked up all three points courtesy of a 2-0 success, with Romelu Lukaku grabbing a brace for the Red Devils.
Rashford replaced Alexis Sanchez in the 61st minute of the match, but was sent off just 10 minutes later when he reacted to a late challenge from Phil Bardsley.
The England international picked up a red card after pushing his head towards the right-back, and has since taken to social media to say "sorry to everyone at the club and all the fans".
Emotions got the better of me, I shouldn't of reacted like that. Sorry to everyone at the club and all the fans #MUFC pic.twitter.com/6UWnxd4yYo
