Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes that Robin van Persie is capable of bringing the Premier League title back to Old Trafford this season.
The 29-year-old is due to complete a transfer from Arsenal to Manchester United in the next 48 hours after the two clubs yesterday agreed a fee, which is thought to be in the region of £24m.
"I could see Manchester United winning the league next year, now they've got Van Persie," Redknapp told BBC Sport. "He could be the difference. He really is a great signing."
United lost their grip on the title in the final seconds of the campaign last season when Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero netted the winner for his side in a last-gasp effort against Queens Park Rangers.
