Manchester United were reportedly rewarded with over £15m in prize money for winning the Premier League.
The champions, who finished their campaign on 89 points, earned the highest amount in the division, with the relegated Queens Park Rangers earning just £775,000 for their bottom-placed finish, according to the Daily Mail.
Fulham's 3-0 win over Swansea City today propelled them from 15th to 12th in the division, meaning that they earned an extra £2.25m on the final day of the season.
Newcastle United lost the most by dropping from 13th to 16th, meaning they lost out on an extra £2.26m.
