Wayne Rooney has said that he is looking forward to re-igniting his Manchester United striking partnership with Javier Hernandez.
While Rooney has scored five goals in United's opening three Premier League matches, Mexican Hernandez has had to settle with appearances from the bench as he made a full recovery from concussion sustained during pre-season.
However, the 23-year-old could return to the starting lineup for Saturday's match at Bolton Wanderers and Rooney believes that Hernandez will have no problem recapturing last season's goalscoring form.
"I'm looking forward to him doing the same, if not scoring more goals for us, this season," Rooney told MUTV.
"Of course people know about him now but, if you look at all the top players around the world, people know how they play and it's still difficult to stop them.
"His movement is so good it's difficult to defend against. It won't be easy for players to defend against him whether they know about him or not."
Hernandez scored 13 league goals for the Red Devils last season.
