Chris Smalling says that Manchester United are determined to claim the bragging rights by winning the Premier League title over Manchester City.

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has admitted that clinching the Premier League title over arch rivals Manchester City would make the victory that much sweeter.

Both sides are battling it out to become the English champions, with the Red Devils currently three points clear at the top of the table.

"It definitely means more because it's City," said Smalling. "It's down to us two now and it's massive.

"The media build it up and as players we definitely want to win it because we know quite a few of their players. It's going to be crucial to get those bragging rights for next year."

The local rivals go head to head in a showdown at the Etihad Stadium in April, with three games left to play.
