Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggests that he would prefer Bruno Fernandes to lower his overall workrate in future matches.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he sometimes becomes 'frustrated' with the workrate of Bruno Fernandes.

The Portugal international produced a man-of-the-match display against Everton on Saturday afternoon, contributing two goals and an assist during the 3-1 victory at Goodison Park.

However, while heaping praise on the playmaker, Solskjaer has indicated that the 26-year-old's efforts can have a detrimental effect on the team.

Speaking to MUTV, Solskjaer said: "Great performance. Of course leading the boys, there's desire and determination. He's everywhere on the pitch.

"Sometimes that frustrates me, because sometimes there's passes being played where he should have been and he's not there. But you know when you've got someone who drives them on like this, of course you're very happy."

United now sit in 14th position in the Premier League standings ahead of the international break.
