Manchester United 'unhappy with Jesse Lingard teaming up with Mino Raiola'

Manchester United are reportedly unhappy with Jesse Lingard's decision to link up with super-agent Mino Raiola.

Manchester United are reportedly unhappy with Jesse Lingard's decision to team up with super-agent Mino Raiola, whose relationship with the Red Devils has taken a downward turn.

Raiola, who also acts for unsettled midfielder Paul Pogba, recently claimed that he would no longer be advising any of his clients to make the move to the 20-time English champions.

United were strongly linked with a swoop for Erling Braut Haaland but were reportedly not prepared to meet the terms of the deal proposed by the super-agent.

Lingard has recently joined forces with the Italian, and according to The Telegraph, the decision has 'caused considerable unease' at United due to the ongoing tensions between the two parties.

The England international has only managed one goal and one assist in 27 appearances this season and faced criticism from the fans for his performance against Manchester City in the EFL Cup on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old, who has been linked with Leicester City in a possible swap deal involving James Maddison, will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire in June 2021.
