Louis van Gaal has remained coy over his future as he continues to be linked with the vacant managerial position at Manchester United.
It has been reported that Van Gaal will be announced as the club's next boss at the start of next week, but the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich chief has refused to confirm whether he is in line to replace David Moyes.
When asked about a potential move, the current Netherlands coach told reporters: "You will have to ask Manchester United, not me, because I don't know.
"We cannot speak about 'if'. It has to be certain. Facts in life are very important."
If appointed by United, Van Gaal would not officially join the Premier League side until the end of the Netherlands' involvement at the World Cup.
