Nemanja Vidic shocked by "crazy" results

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic says that he was shocked by the "crazy" results this season.

Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has claimed that he has been taken aback by the "crazy" Premier League season.

The champions have struggled to adapt to life under David Moyes this term and currently sit seventh in the division, 11 points behind leaders Arsenal, and the Serbian centre-back has been surprised by the way results have panned out.

Vidic is quoted as saying in The Mirror: "I didn't expect it to be this crazy. I expected teams to drop points and I expected a few teams to get better. I thought Liverpool would improve, but I didn't see them being where they are - Arsenal, maybe as well.

"I thought City and Chelsea would be up there and I thought we would be in a better position that where we are now.

"In the Premier League, we had a tough start and that didn't help us get our rhythm at the start of the season."

United travel to Chelsea on Sunday.
