Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho scores one of the greatest goals in Premier League history to hand his side the lead against Everton.

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has scored one of the Premier League's greatest ever goals to put his side ahead against Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon.

The Argentine produced the magical moment after just three minutes of the contest on Merseyside, momentarily silencing a vociferous home crowd as they protested against their 10-point deduction.

A cross from the right initially appeared to be too deep for anything to be made of it, but Garnacho pulled off an outrageous bicycle kick which looped over Jordan Pickford and into the far top corner.

The strike drew immediate comparisons with another scored by a Manchester United player, bearing many similarities to Wayne Rooney's famous goal in the Manchester derby.

Garnacho had only scored once all season for Man United before Sunday's stunner, which gave the Red Devils a perfect start to their return to Premier League action after the international break.

The 19-year-old emulated another Man United legend by celebrating in similar style to Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark celebration, while Gary Neville hailed the goal as the best overhead kick he has ever seen.

If Man United beat Everton then they will climb back up to sixth in the Premier League table.
