Manchester United winger Ashley Young expresses his delight at helping his side beat Blackburn 2-0 to send them five points clear of Man City.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has expressed his delight at his side's 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park tonight.

Two goals in the last ten minutes, including one from Young himself, ensured that United moved five points clear of local rivals Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

With City dropping points, including their first at home this season last weekend, Young was in no doubt as to the importance of tonight's match.

"I think this was a massive game for us. We knew if we won we would go five points clear," Young told Sky Sports News.

"It was a great result, a great performance."

United's next match comes against struggling Queens Park Rangers while City meet Arsenal at the Emirates.
