Hull City's 0-0 draw with Manchester United this afternoon resulted in the Tigers being relegated from the Premier League.

Goal

Steve Harper: The veteran goalkeeper had very little to do. (6/10)

Defence

James Chester: The defender was solid enough and kept possession relatively well before he was substituted towards the end of the game. (6/10)

Michael Dawson: It was a captain's performance from Dawson, who made one brave block of note to deny Herrera breaking the deadlock. (6/10)

Paul McShane: Was on the receiving end of a nasty challenge from Fellaini, but he soldiered on. (6/10)

Midfield

Ahmed Elmohamady: Rose highest at the back post, only to see his first-half header saved. Apart from that, it was a quiet outing from the Egyptian. (6/10)

Robbie Brady: Hull's best player and also the best performer on the pitch. He sent over a number of dangerous crosses and it wouldn't be a big surprise if another Premier League club took a chance on him next season. (7/10)

Stephen Quinn: It was an industrious outing from Quinn in the heart of the midfield. (6/10)

David Meyler: The Irishman wasted a really good chance at the start of the second half and aside from that he was quiet. (5/10)

Tom Huddlestone: His quality is there for all to see, but he ambled through this game and produced too many wayward passes. (5/10)

Attack

Nikica Jelavic: The Croatian worked hard up front, but he was never really given the service to cause any damage. (6/10)

Dame N'Doye: The January signing was lively, particularly during the first half, but saw his best efforts either saved or fly wide of the target. (6/10)

Substitutes

Abel Hernandez: Summed up his Hull career to date when a goal looked certain, only for the Uruguayan to completely miss his kick. (5/10)

Sone Aluko: It was a positive cameo from Aluko, who was never shy to run at the United defence. (6/10)

Andrew Robertson: The young Scot didn't have long to make an impact on proceedings, although he did get forward well from left-back. (5/10)

Goal

Victor Valdes: The full debutant made a couple of smart stops, but he looked very suspect to balls that were hoisted into the penalty area. (5/10)

Defence

Antonio Valencia: Once again reluctant to use his left foot, it caused Valencia problems on more than one occasion. (5/10)

Phil Jones: Although he did little wrong, particularly in possession of the ball, Jones cut a nervy figure. (5/10)

Chris Smalling: Probably United's best defender on the day, Smalling made a couple of important headers and interceptions. (6/10)

Marcos Rojo: The Argentine put in plenty of effort, but he's not a natural left-back and that showed every time that he ventured forward. (5/10)

Midfield

Daley Blind: Kept things simple when in possession, but his lack of physicality meant that he was out-muscled on occasions in the centre of midfield. (5/10)

Ander Herrera: Probably United's most impressive performer on the day. The Spaniard was lively in midfield and produced a couple of good attempts that deserved better. (7/10)

Angel di Maria: His debut season in the Premier League was summed up by his 23-minute outing at the KC Stadium before he was substituted with an unspecified injury. If that was his last United outing, it certainly wasn't one to remember. (3/10)

Ashley Young: Playing in a more central role today, Young struggled to make an impact on proceedings before he was replaced just short of the hour mark. (6/10)

Juan Mata: The Spaniard showed plenty of neat touches, but it was by no means his most effective performance. (6/10)

Attack

Wayne Rooney: Playing as the lone centre-forward, it was a frustrating outing for Rooney. He never received any service. (5/10)

Substitutes

Adnan Januzaj: Came on for Di Maria and while he was positive at times, too often his decision-making let him down. (5/10)

Marouane Fellaini: Did little with the ball and was then correctly sent off for a poor challenge on McShane. Not his finest outing in a United shirt, that's for sure. (4/10)

James Wilson: Was given a few minutes at the end, but the sending-off of Fellaini meant that he had to finish the game out wide. (5/10)
