Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester United could line up for Monday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

Manchester United could have almost a full selection of players for Monday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United.

The Red Devils are gearing up for their first game in over two weeks following a coronavirus outbreak, and Ralf Rangnick issued a positive team news update in his press conference.

Paul Pogba is still unavailable for the visitors, but the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Juan Mata could all be ready for action.

Varane may slot straight back into the heart of defence alongside Harry Maguire, but Diogo Dalot will endeavour to hold his place on the right over Wan-Bissaka.

Fred and Scott McTominay ought to man the engine room once more, although Donny van de Beek – assuming he is well enough – will be eyeing opportunities in the congested winter period.

Jadon Sancho and Bruno Fernandes are set to occupy two of the four spots in the final third, where Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford will hope to shine once more.

Ronaldo bagged a brace against the Magpies at Old Trafford earlier in the season, while Rashford has had a direct hand in seven goals in as many matches versus Newcastle.

Man United possible starting lineup: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay; Sancho, Fernandes; Ronaldo, Rashford
