Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for their trip to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Premier League at lunchtime on Saturday.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim should be able to welcome some senior players back for the trip to Everton on Saturday, after naming eight teenagers on the bench at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

The number of absentees was in double figures for Man United on Sunday in North London, but Amorim does expect both Leny Yoro and Christian Eriksen to return from illness, while Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer could be fit again after minor knocks.

Having three midfielders back would be crucial for the visitors, who are also currently missing both Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount, and were down to just two senior options in the engine room at Spurs in Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro.

Some criticism could be aimed at the club for allowing players to leave in January without replacements being lined up immediately, especially when Antony is in excellent form at Real Betis.

Marcus Rashford was another player who was allowed to depart, and Everton fans will be rejoicing at that fact given the excellent record the now-Aston Villa man had over them in recent years, scoring five and assisting two in his previous six meetings with the Toffees, including bagging a brace in the reverse fixture, which was remarkably his last start for the club.

Joshua Zirkzee also scored twice in that 4-0 win, but he has not found the net in the league since, going 12 matches without a goal, and his strike partner Rasmus Hojlund is in similarly poor form, with no goal in 15 across all competitions.

That makes the absence of Amad Diallo even more crushing to the Red Devils, as the Ivorian will not be seen for the rest of the season after suffering an ankle injury last week.

United's other injury concerns all come in defence, with Lisandro Martinez also out for the season, while Luke Shaw and Jonny Evans are set for a few more weeks on the sidelines.

Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; Dalot, Mazraoui, Maguire, De Ligt, Dorgu; Fernandes, Casemiro; Zirkzee, Hojlund, Garnacho
