Premier League 2015-16 in numbers: Week 12

Sports Mole looks back over the 12th round of Premier League games with a selection of facts and figures from each of the 10 encounters.

Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastle

No goalkeeper made more saves over the course of the weekend than Newcastle's Rob Elliot, who made five stops.

Ayoze Perez's goal was just the second that the travelling Magpies have scored on the road this season.

The hosting Cherries had 20 shots over the course of the 90 minutes, but they were unable to score with any of them.

Leicester City 2-1 Watford

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has now found the net in nine successive Premier League games - a record for an Englishman.

The Foxes are the only team in the Premier League to have scored in every match this season.

Of the 12 goals that Watford have shipped this term, 11 have been conceded in the second half of encounters.

Manchester United 2-0 West Bromwich Albion

Juan Mata scored 18 Premier League goals in 82 outings for Chelsea and he has now found the net the same number of times for United, having made only 58 appearances for the Red Devils.

As for Jesse Lingard, he scored his first senior goal in Man United colours.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has lost 11 of the 13 Premier League matches in which he has faced United.

Norwich City 1-0 Swansea City

Norwich midfielder Jonny Howson scored for the first time in the Premier League since October 2013.

His goal was the first header that the Canaries have scored in the English top flight this season.

The visiting Swans have now conceded at least one goal in each of their last six Premier League games.

Sunderland 0-1 Southampton

The Saints won for the first time at the Stadium of Light since January 2003 when James Beattie scored the only goal of the game.

Ronald Koeman's men have now kept clean sheets in back-to-back Premier League matches for the second time this season.

No team has conceded more goals this term than the Black Cats (26).

West Ham United 1-1 Everton

Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku has scored seven goals in his last seven games against West Ham in all competitions.

The draw extended the away side's unbeaten Premier League run versus the Hammers to 15 matches.

Manuel Lanzini is the first West Ham player since Bobby Zamora in 2006-07 to have found the net against both Merseyside clubs in the same season.

Stoke City 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has suffered seven defeats in a league campaign for the first time.

The West Londoners have conceded 23 goals this season - only Bournemouth and Sunderland have shipped more.

Stoke have now won their last two games against the Blues, having lost the previous four in all competitions.

Aston Villa 0-0 Manchester City

The Villans kept their first clean sheet since the opening day of the season.

It was also the first shutout that they have recorded against the Citizens since January 2011.

Meanwhile, City have conceded four goals on the road this season, which is a joint Premier League low with Southampton and West Brom.

Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has become the first player to assist 10 goals in his opening 11 games of a Premier League season.

The Gunners failed to register a shot on goal until the 38th minute - their previous worst at home this season was eight minutes.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has found the net six times in his last four outings in all competitions.

Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace

Palace have won 10 away games in the Premier League this year - only Arsenal (11) have claimed more victories during that time.

Their victory brought an end to Liverpool's unbeaten run of 12 matches in all competitions.

The hosting Reds had 22 shots during the game, but they were only able to land four of them on target.
