CSKA Moscow youngsters thrash Manchester United

CSKA Moscow hit four unanswered goals against Manchester United's Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.

Manchester United's Under-19 side suffered a 4-0 defeat in their UEFA Youth League encounter against CSKA Moscow in Russia this afternoon.

There was 13 minutes on the clock when the home side broke the deadlock through Timur Zhamaletdinov, who scored from the penalty spot after Axel Tuanzebe had been penalised for handball.

Aleksandr Makarov made it 2-0 moments before the break and then shortly after the restart Zhamaletdinov fired in another penalty, with Tyrell Warren the offender on this occasion.

The scoring was then completed two minutes from time when Astemir Gordyushenko found the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the box.

The result means that United's youngsters, who are managed by Nicky Butt, have collected four points from their first three group matches.
