Manchester United winger Nani has marked his return to action with a brace against Crewe Alexandra.
The Portuguese winger started at Gresty Road in his first pre-season friendly of the summer, alongside first-team regulars Nemanja Vidic and Antonio Valencia.
Nani made his mark at the Alexandra Stadium after 11 minutes, smashing a free kick past Crewe keeper Alan Martin.
Just before the hour mark Nani doubled his and United's tally from close range, keeping his balance to beat two defenders before guiding home a composed finish.
Vidic and Nani both lasted just over an hour in their bid for fitness, while Valencia completed the full 90 minutes.
Bebe and Federico Macheda attempted to add a third for United in the closing stages, but both men drove their efforts wide from inside the penalty area.
