Keith Gillespie: 'David Moyes needs improvements soon'

Keith Gillespie believes that David Moyes will be facing the sack if Manchester United's results do not improve soon.

Former Manchester United winger Keith Gillespie has admitted that David Moyes is in danger of losing his job as manager if the club's results do not pick up.

The Red Devils are sixth in the Premier League and following last night's 2-0 defeat to Olympiacos, they are on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League.

In the wake of that loss, Gillespie tweeted: "Worst performance I have seen from a Man U side in a long time. Lacklustre with no spirit. Terrible. Fergie was a tough act to follow. Moyes is not in a position to throw hair dryers around. He needs to get a reaction soon or he'll be gone."

United are not in action again until March 8 when they travel to West Bromwich Albion.
