Henning Berg thinks that David Moyes would be a good choice for the new Manchester United manager.

Former Manchester United centre-back Henning Berg has insisted that David Moyes would be a good choice to replace Sir Alex Ferguson, who is retiring at the end of the season.

Berg said that Moyes might look to bring in a couple of players from Everton should he get the job, but does not expect a major shake-up at Old Trafford.

"David Moyes is a very good choice," BBC Sport quotes Berg as saying. "He's very similar to Ferguson as a manager. He's shown at Everton what he can do with limited resources and he will look to lead the club in the same way.

"Of course he might want to bring one or two Everton players with him but I don't think there will be too many changes."

Moyes is expected to be confirmed as the new United manager this week.
