Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has thanked manager Sir Alex Ferguson following the Scot's final game in charge at Old Trafford.
Ferguson, who announced his retirement earlier this week, saw his United side beat Swansea City 2-1 in their penultimate match of the Premier League season.
Van Persie's debut campaign for the Red Devils has seen him win his first league title in English football.
"I want to thank him. He is unbelievable," Van Persie told Sky Sports News. "He is a great manager and a great person. He deserves all of the credit he gets."
Van Persie will go into the final game of the season with 32 goals to his name in all competitions.
