Having seemingly made the decision to keep Erik ten Hag as head coach, Manchester United's plans for this summer's transfer window, which is now officially open, have accelerated.
The 20-time English champions could allegedly have a budget of around £140m, and there are a number of areas of the squad in need of strengthening ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
The club's new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe's familiarity with French football could lead to the Red Devils bringing in players from Ligue 1 and specifically Lille.
With that in mind, Sports Mole discusses the futures of three players that Man United could potentially sign from the French giants during the summer market.

David's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Man United said to be keeping a close eye on his situation ahead of a potential move during the summer market.
The 24-year-old only has 12 months left to run on his current deal, and with a new contract seemingly off the table, it is highly likely that he will depart ahead of next season.
Man United need a striker, and David scored 26 goals and registered nine assists in 47 appearances at club level during the 2023-24 campaign.
Meanwhile, the Canada international has 84 goals and 18 assists in 183 appearances for Lille in all competitions, winning the Ligue 1 title in the process, and it would not be a surprise to see the centre-forward at Old Trafford next season.
Leny Yoro (centre-back)

There is also huge speculation surrounding a certain Yoro, with the 18-year-old regarded as one of the best young talents in world football.
The centre-back was in excellent form for his French club during the 2023-24 campaign, making 44 appearances in all competitions, scoring three times in the process.
Lille are in a tough position when it comes to the Frenchman, as his contract is also due to expire next summer, and he is being tipped to leave on during the current transfer window.
Real Madrid are regarded as the favourites, but Man United are said to lead the Premier League interest alongside Liverpool, with three of the biggest clubs on the planet battling to sign a player who is being tipped to become one of the best in the world in his position.
Edon Zhegrova (Right-sided attacker)

Zhegrova is not a player currently being linked with Man United, but if the Red Devils are looking closely at Lille, then the 25-year-old is almost certain to be on their radar.
Indeed, the Kosovo international was in strong form at club level during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 12 goals and registering 10 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.
Man United are expected to allow Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood to leave this summer, while Antony's future is also unclear, so a right-sided attacker could quickly become a priority for the club.
Zhegrova only has two years left to run on his contract, and the Red Devils would not have to break the bank to sign him, with the player likely to be a cheaper option than Crystal Palace's Michael Olise.
He has managed 18 goals and 16 assists in 86 appearances for Les Dogues, and the winger could potentially be a part of a triple swoop on Lille from the Red Devils this summer.
