Manchester United are reportedly planning to hand a trial to young Bosnian goalkeeper Tarik Karic.
Since Erik ten Hag's arrival earlier in the summer, the focus has been on transforming a first-team squad which under-performed during the last campaign.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Premier League giants remain keen to consider potential options for the future.
The report says that Karic, who is just 16 years of age, will spend time with the United youth setup at some point during September.
Karic is currently plying his trade for the academy side at FK Zeljeznicar, who finished in sixth position in the Bosnian top flight during the most recent campaign.

After failing to hold down a regular spot at Chelsea, Fikayo Tomori was allowed to sign for AC Milan, initially on loan at the start of 2021 before earning a permanent move to San Siro.
The 24-year-old has since emerged as one of the club's most important signings in recent years, the defender making 31 appearances last season as AC Milan ended their 11-year wait for another Serie A title.
Although Tomori still has three years remaining on his contract, he has revealed that he is in talks to extend his deal.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin, the England international said: "Yes, we're in talks and I really like everything here in Milano."
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that any new contract is expected to run until the end of 2026-27.
