The agent of Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera has said that his client will remain with the Basque outfit this summer despite talk of a move to the Premier League.
Manchester United reportedly came close to signing the Spaniard last summer, but the move broke down at the final moment over the transfer fee.
United are believed to have reignited their interest, while Chelsea are also understood to be monitoring proceedings this summer. However, Arturo Canales has quelled talk of a move.
"There's nothing new. There have been rumours all year saying United wanted to sign him and then Jose Mourinho and Chelsea, but I haven't heard anything," Canales told AS.
"The focus of the player is Athletic and nothing else. Ander is on vacation and he only thinks about next season with Athletic, because he is very excited to play in the Champions League with this team."
Bilbao finished fourth in La Liga last season.
