Ajax are reportedly plotting a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson in January.
The Dutch champions were dealing with the absence of Andre Onana through a doping ban until last month, and the Cameroon international is expected to leave when his contract expires in 2022.
Onana is thought to have an agreement in place to join Inter Milan, with Erik ten Hag fielding 38-year-old Remko Pasveer in goal for much of the 2021-22 season.
Pasveer has only conceded one Eredivisie goal in that time, but ahead of Onana's expected exit, the Manchester Evening News claims that Ajax want Henderson on loan in January.
The report adds that talks over a possible move began during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Red Devils reign, but Ralf Rangnick's plans for Henderson are currently unclear.
With David de Gea in strong form this season, Henderson has made just one appearance in the EFL Cup and is yet to play a minute of Premier League football in the 2021-22 season.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at Man United until 2025 and is thought to be open to an 18-month loan away from Old Trafford.
