Alexis Sanchez is reportedly still hopeful that Inter Milan will sign him on a permanent deal this summer.
The Chile international joined the Italian giants on loan from Manchester United last summer and has made 13 appearances for Antonio Conte's side in all competitions.
The 31-year-old has only managed one goal and three assists for the Milan outfit, although a troublesome ankle problem has forced him to miss a lot of football this season.
A recent report claimed that Inter were not interested in signing Sanchez on a permanent deal and would therefore send him back to his parent club at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, the South American is still hopeful that he can do enough between now and the summer to convince Conte's team to change their mind.
Sanchez, who has only scored five times in 45 appearances for the Red Devils, has a contract at Old Trafford until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
