Fiorentina have reportedly now accepted that they will have to sell Dusan Vlahovic, with Arsenal seemingly stepping up their interest in the centre-forward.
The Gunners are said to be desperate to sign the Serbia international during the January transfer window, with the club looking to bring a new striker to the club.
Vlahovic has now entered the final 18 months of his contract at Stadio Artemio Franchi and has allegedly told his Italian club that he will not be signing an extension.
According to La Repubblica, Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso is ready 'to let Vlahovic go', as the Serbian's future is 'moving further and further away' from his Serie A side.
A deal for the 21-year-old could allegedly cost Arsenal as much as £150m, although the North London club are thought to be keen to pay the transfer fee over four years.
Vlahovic has been in excellent form for the Purples during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 19 times and registering three assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus have also previously been credited with an interest in his services.
