Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier this summer.
The England international is believed to be keen to return to the Premier League in the current market, and Manchester United continue to be strongly linked with his services.
A recent report claimed that the Red Devils are still working on a deal for the 30-year-old, who is valued by his Spanish club at €40m (£34m) despite the fact that his current contract is due to expire in June 2023.
However, according to The Sun, there is also genuine interest from North London in the shape of Arsenal, with the Gunners keen to sign a replacement for Hector Bellerin.
The report claims that Mikel Arteta's side are yet to make an official offer for Trippier, who is now back in training with Diego Simeone's team following his involvement in this summer's European Championship.
The right-back has impressed since arriving at Wanda Metropolitano, providing 11 assists in 68 appearances in all competitions, and he played an important role in last season's La Liga title success.
Trippier previously spent four years at Tottenham Hotspur before moving to Spain.
