Spain international Marco Asensio has revealed that he has three options available to him when questioned about his Real Madrid future.
The 26-year-old is set to enter the final year of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and despite scoring 10 goals in 31 league appearances in the 2021-22 season, Asensio has been linked with a move away from the Spanish champions.
A previous report indicated that he was one of six players who could follow Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco out of the exit door, while Manchester United have allegedly been offered the chance to sign the attacker.
With speculation rife about his future, the Spaniard has spoken out, suggesting that he has "three possibilities" available to him.
As quoted by Marca, Asensio said: "I am focused on the national team. When this concentration is over, we will talk. We will see what I will do with my future. Renew or leave Real Madrid? I think there are three possibilities, there is also the option to stay and fulfil my contract year.
"My future does not have to depend on whether or not I will have a place in the next World Cup.
"Rumours are part of football, and more so at Real Madrid. High-level players are always associated with it. Many players come out every summer and it's something we have to live with."
Asensio, who has also linked with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan, has won three league titles and three Champions League trophies in his time at Real Madrid.
