Barcelona are reportedly keen to make Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali 'their new Andres Iniesta'.
The 19-year-old has impressed for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing one goal and five assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
The midfielder is widely expected to leave Diego Lopez's side during the upcoming transfer window, with the likes of Manchester United, Juventus, Inter Milan and Liverpool all said to hold an interest.
However, according to AS, Barca have identified the teenager as a leading summer target as they want him to become the team's 'new Iniesta'.
Tonali, who was handed the first of his three Italy caps against Liechtenstein in October 2019, could allegedly be available for a figure in the region of €40m (£35m) this summer.
Barca, though, are not said to be interested in Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez.
