Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong is reportedly interested in joining Manchester United.
Since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Celtic in January 2021, Frimpong has registered seven goals and 13 assists across 68 appearances for the German club.
Despite being under contract with Leverkusen until 2025, the Dutchman's future at the club appears to be in doubt amid reports of a potential move to Man United.
According to Sky Deutschland, Frimpong is aware of Man United's interest, and he is open to making the switch to Old Trafford.
Diogo Dalot has been Erik ten Hag's preferred right-back this season, but with his backup Aaron Wan-Bissaka heading towards the exit door, the Red Devils have identified Frimpong as a possible option.
There is a belief that talks over a transfer will gain pace after the World Cup, while Leverkusen have already begun their search for the Dutchman's replacement.
Frimpong is currently away with the Netherlands squad at the World Cup, where he is still awaiting his international debut after failing to appear in all three group games.
