Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, with the Red Devils now pushing to sign the France international during the January transfer window.
There is currently a host of speculation surrounding Kolo Muani's future, with the forward allowed to leave the French champions this month, and there is said to be interest from the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus.
Man United have also been linked with the 26-year-old, who has scored two goals and registered one assist in 14 appearances for the French champions during the 2024-25 campaign.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the English club's interest in Kolo Muani has become "more concrete", and they are now doing "everything possible" in a bid to sign him this month.
"Manchester United's efforts to sign Randal Kolo Muani are becoming more concrete! "The Red Devils are now determined to do everything possible to secure his transfer in the winter. Recently, there have been very specific talks with his management, and direct negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain are expected to follow," Plettenberg posted on his X account.
"#MUFC are considering a loan deal, ideally with an option to buy. Other clubs still in the race include Chelsea, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Juventus, AC Milan, and others."

Man United 'step up interest' in Kolo Muani
Kolo Muani made the move to PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023, and he has represented the French giants on 54 occasions, scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists in the process.
Man United are believed to have seriously considered moving for the forward in the summer of 2023 but instead brought in Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta BC.
The Red Devils are determined to boost their attacking department this month due to their problems in that area of the field, while the expected departure of Marcus Rashford will open up a spot in the squad.
Joshua Zirkzee has also been linked with a departure, although a recent report claimed that the Netherlands international will stay at Old Trafford despite firm interest from a number of major Italian clubs.

Why do Man United want to sign Kolo Muani?
January is an incredibly difficult month to do business, with clubs, for obvious reasons, reluctant to let important players leave in the middle of the campaign, but Kolo Muani is available this month.
Kolo Muani's pace and strength, in addition to his versatility, are said to make him attractive for Man United, with the English club's head coach Ruben Amorim believed to be a firm admirer of his talents.
The Frenchman's ability to 'time runs behind defences' is believed to be one of the main reasons why Amorim is pushing to sign him, with Hojlund and Zirkzee both struggling when it comes to that particular skill.
Kolo Muani also had an excellent scoring record at Frankfurt, finding the back of the net on 26 occasions in 50 appearances, in addition to registering 17 assists, and he could now continue his career in the Premier League after a difficult period in Paris.
